  • A Costly Lesson: My Regret After Buying an Acura RDX

Buying a car is supposed to be exciting. For many, it marks the beginning of new opportunities — freedom, reliability, and peace of mind knowing you have dependable transportation. Unfortunately, for me, what should have been a positive experience turned into one of the biggest regrets I’ve ever had.

I walked onto the lot expecting honesty and transparency. What I got instead was deception, hidden issues, and an avalanche of repair bills that still haven’t stopped.

Here’s my unfiltered experience:

Looking for a used car and want to be treated like trash! You’ve found the spot! Want to be talked to like you’re a stupid little girl! Ask for Brad or Pat take your pick. I understand the concept of buying a used car but when things are hidden and denied, that’s a huge red flag. So if you’re really in need of good transportation, keep scrolling it’s not located here.

DO NOT buy a car here.
These people declined to share that my car was in an unreported accident causing internal AND cosmetic damage. Car has needed multiple repairs and still does. Fell apart almost as soon as I bought it. No spare key and no follow up on it. Sold me an off market key that does not have a trunk access, nor does is it cut. I purchased an Acura RDX and am full of regret. Do not purchase from this dealership.

What makes this experience worse is how preventable it could have been. A simple disclosure about the car’s accident history would have changed everything. Instead, the lack of transparency left me with a vehicle that was doomed from the start.

It’s not just about the money spent on repairs — though that has been significant. It’s about the broken trust. A dealership is supposed to help you make one of life’s bigger purchases with confidence. Instead, I was left with regret, frustration, and a lingering sense of being taken advantage of.

The Takeaway

If you’re considering buying from this dealership, think twice. A car isn’t just a purchase — it’s a commitment. And once you sign the paperwork, you’re the one left holding the bag if the dealership hasn’t been honest.

I wish I had walked away. Hopefully, my story will save someone else from making the same mistake.
