I recently visited DC Steak House with my husband for a night out.
We called ahead and had a reservation for 8:30. We got sat after 9:00 so immediately off to a bad start. Our server never refilled drinks, to the point where my husband literally took our drinks to the bar himself to get them refilled. I ordered the filet and it came out burnt and so nasty. I’ve had better steaks at Texas Roadhouse for less than half the price. When the new steaks came out there was no manager, gm or anyone in charge that came to apologize or ask about it. The server was nice but not attentive in any way. We go out to places like this and are fine with the price if the food matches. Our bill was soooooo much and I can genuinely say it was not even close to worth the money we paid. Genuinely disappointed all around.

Final Thoughts
DC Steak House has the appearance of a fine dining spot, but it missed the mark in almost every aspect — from seating delays and inattentive service to poorly prepared food and no managerial oversight. I wouldn’t recommend it, especially if you expect your meal to match the price you’re paying. We left the restaurant genuinely disappointed.
